About the author
D. M. Green writes reflective fiction about ordinary lives and the moments that quietly change us. His stories are interested in truth — the kind that emerges slowly through conversation, memory, and attention — and in what happens when people are finally able to speak what has been held inside.
Alongside this, his books explore spiritual questions in a broad, open sense: meaning, presence, love, and the possibility of growth and healing beyond the surface of everyday life. He is drawn to spirituality as lived experience rather than doctrine, and to the ways it can be found in ordinary encounters, compassion, and moments of deep honesty.
Much of his writing is shaped by listening — to students, to lived experience, and to the small, often overlooked details that reveal who we are beneath our roles. He believes stories don’t need to shout to be powerful. Sometimes they simply need to sit with the reader, ask a gentle question, and make a little space for understanding.
